UPDATE FOR 2022 SEASON - We have reached our maximum enrollment for swimming lessons for the 2022 season. Any future registrations will not be charged, at this time, and will be put on a waiting list in the event we receive a cancelation.
Possible New Courses
We are considering offering new courses this summer. However, we are interested in gauging the interest in such programs.
The size of our pool allows us to provide lessons for children ages 3-18 and of all swimming abilities concurrently. Lessons are held for approximately 2 weeks beginning in mid-June at either 9:30 am or 10:30 am and run for 45 minutes. Lessons are available to pool members at a fee of $10 per child.
2022 Swimming Lesson Dates - June 16 - July 1, Monday-Friday
Lessons begin with test day. During this short session, a staff member will work with each child to determine the appropriate station at which the child should begin their official lesson the next day. Children have the opportunity to advance through the stations (other than Advanced Beginner and Intermediate) during the two week period, as the instructors see fit. Stations are as follows:
Swimming lessons conclude with a Fabulous Friday filled with fun times on the sliding board, diving board, and canoe rides.
Possible New Courses
We are considering offering new courses this summer. However, we are interested in gauging the interest in such programs.
- A parent/child swim class - This class would be open to pool members and would be intended for parent/guardian and their 6-month - 4-year-old child. If you are interested in such a course, please complete this survey.
- A Lifeguard Academy - This course is designed for any pre-teens, teenagers, and adults who may have an interest in learning more about what it's like to be a lifeguard and the requirements to get certified. It would serve as a great precursor to the lifeguarding course that can be taken at age 15 or older. For the Lifeguard Academy, please complete this survey.
